Hola! Bienvenidos.

Welcome! My name is Maria but everyone calls me Mari. Soy conocedora de nada y aprendiz de todo.  I have a passion for writing, creating and visual  communication, is really something I enjoy. Thus, now allowing myself to create this space with hopes of expanding my own flow of ideas and sharing them with you.

LaBenavida was born in 2016 and took on life as a fun tag in 2019. Now in 2020, alas! My blog was born. 

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, an over-thinker, metaphorical writer, meme creator and creative creature who spends most days day dreaming. I‘m constantly on the-go and always looking for something new to learn, yup! just a simple human trying to dabble in all different types of things. 

I could fill this page with a million things to say about me, or try to sell myself and tell you I am an expert on many things, but truth is I am just an ordinary girl with ideas, positive content and a tremendous willingness to share it with you, yes you!

 Let's cover and discuss topics about life, motherhood, recipes, travel and use this platform to fill it with positivity, encouragement, motivational affirmations, fun and happiness. Nothing fancy, but very real.

Disclamer;

Lots of Spanglish around here; What the heck is spanglish? aha! I thought you never ask. Spanglish; a hybrid language combining words and idioms from both Spanish and English, especially Spanish speech that uses many English words and expressions. I am extremely lucky  and proud to be a Latina and communicating in spanglish is such a vivacious feeling, so..... Excuse me if I do a lot of that around here. I hope you can keep up.
